Hello Backers,
We’re nearly at the finish line! We wanted to share some shipping updates as well as a few “quick start” tips for backers once they receive their canopies!
Below is a recap on our current shipping progress:
USA Backers:
Currently just over 60% of backers have received tracking numbers from Easyship. Our goal is to have the balance of the orders processed by next week. Please note that there may be a slight delay between receiving your tracking number and seeing your shipment begin to move. We are working hard to process everyone’s orders as quickly as possible!
International Backers (Non EU)
We are processing these orders manually to ensure a smooth customs clearance experience and avoid any issues or delays. Tracking numbers will be sent out by next week.
EU Backers
There was a vessel schedule change due to port congestion. The good news is the container was offloaded from Ever Glory on April 10th in Rotterdam. It has since been loaded onto another vessel, Helmut, which arrived in Dublin today. We are waiting for the port to make the container available to us for pickup which can take anywhere from a few days to a weeks time. We understand that these port delays are frustrating, but unfortunately this is common in the current logistics and supply chain environment. We’ll be sure to provide an update once we have possession of your orders and can begin shipping.
A few quick notes to keep in mind once receiving your canopies!
- We have included “quick start” guide. Please review this before setting up your canopy for the first time and keep it for future reference.
- Please make sure to fully charge the pump before inflating the canopy for the first time. Although the battery indicator may show that there is a charge, battery drainage may have occurred during the long journey from the factory.
- Please make sure the canopy is secured with the stakes and tether ropes prior to attaching any shade or mesh walls as this will minimize any wind impact during setup. Please be sure to remove any shade or mesh walls before deflating for easy packing.
- Always be sure to use the valve cover after inflation to ensure an airtight seal for your canopy.
Thank you all again for your support and patience as we navigated the ups and downs of developing the Aeri Canopy over this past year.
It has been a challenge for our team to work through the various supply chain and logistics issues, all without being able to travel and meet with our suppliers due to covid restrictions. In the end we are very excited about the end product and can’t wait to share it with you all.

Hi Backers,
We wanted to share some important shipping updates as we begin our order fulfillment process!
North America / Non EU Orders
We have an appointment scheduled with the port of Los Angeles to pick up our containers tomorrow, April 1st - This is NOT an April Fools joke! :)
The canopies will then be delivered to our warehouse on Monday, April 4th for sorting, packing and shipping!
We will be providing the warehouse with the final order details and shipping addresses on Monday, April 4th. We will not be able to re-route any orders shipped to old / incorrect addresses and will not be liable for orders sent to the wrong address. Thank you for your understanding on this.

EU Orders

Dear Backers,
We wanted to provide a quick shipping update as we near the fulfillment stage of our campaign!
USA/Rest of World Shipments:
MSC Brittany is currently off the coast of California and waiting to dock at the port of Los Angeles. Depending on customs clearance and port congestion this process can take anywhere from a couple of days to a few weeks.
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do but wait until we are able to recover the containers and truck them to our warehouse. Once we have possession of the containers we estimate the below timeline for delivery:
- 7 days for container recovery and preparation for drop ship
- 3-5 days for final mile delivery to you
European Shipments:
All orders are onboard the vessel Ever Glory in transit to Dublin, Ireland. Our forwarder is currently advising an ETA of April 8th.
We are so excited to be at the “finish line” of our campaign. Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work through this final phase and begin to deliver your pledges.

Dear Backers,
We hope everyone is safe, healthy, and looking forward to some warmer weather under their canopies!
We are sorry for being a few days late on our monthly update, but wanted to wait until we had meaningful information to share from our freight forwarder regarding delivery schedules.
The good news it that we are still on track and making progress based on the overall schedule shared in our January update:
- 60 days for ocean transfer and destination port clearance
- 7 days for container recovery and preparation for drop ship
- 3-5 days for final mile delivery to you
The only major change that has occurred on the logistics front is that we made the decision to redirect the canopies from Hong Kong to Shanghai for final ocean shipment. This was due to capacity constraints in Hong Kong that would have resulted in lengthy delays in getting the products loaded onto vessels.
Although this was a costly endeavor for us, we can appreciate that everyone is very excited to receive their canopies and we are committed to executing every available option to expedite delivery in this continuously challenging logistics environment.
If anyone would like to keep track of the progress of the ocean shipments, you can monitor vessel status using various online tracking sites. We recommend www.marinetraffic.com
USA/Rest of World Shipments: MSC Brittany - Departed Shanghai on February 12th, and ETA to Los Angeles on March 25th.
European Shipments: All orders are scheduled to depart Shanghai this week. We will update shortly once we have vessel information to share. Transit time to Dublin is approximately 40 days.
After arriving in one of our two distribution centers (Los Angeles, CA and Dublin, Ireland), your orders will be transferred to couriers for the final leg of their journey to your front door.

Dear Backers,
We hope you had a great holiday season, and that the your start to 2022 has been all that you hoped for and more.
We are pleased to announce that production was completed on schedule! The canopies were finished over the holiday period and have passed our rigorous QC inspection. They are now in transit to a facility in Hong Kong where they will be consolidated and loaded into shipping containers for transit to destination regions.
Once arriving in one of our two distribution centers (US and Europe), your the canopies will be picked, packed, and re-sorted for their final journey to your front door.
As mentioned in previous updates, container shortages, ocean vessel space, and port congestion continue to be a challenge not only for us but for the consumer goods industry as a whole. The rush to ship goods prior to the Chinese New Year holiday has further stressed the supply chain, but we are working closely with our logistics partners to ensure a timely shipment from the port in Hong Kong. Once containers have been loaded onto their vessels we will be able to share additional tracking information with you.
We are still anticipating the same shipment timeline that was shared in our October production and shipping update:
- 60 days for ocean transfer and destination port clearance
- 7 days for container recovery and preparation for drop ship
- 3-5 days for final mile delivery to you
Under normal circumstances, all of the above activities would be a 30 day process, but the logistics environment is stressed more than it has ever been. We will be working closely with our forwarder to improve wherever we can.
We want to thank everyone again for all your support and patience and are so excited to be at the finish line for delivering your pledges through what has been an unprecedented “everything” in bringing Aeri to life.
There are still a few backers who have not completed their surveys. We encourage those backers to move swiftly in completing their surveys so as not incur any further delays in receiving their pledges.
